Our supplemental treatments include: gua sha, moist & infrared heat and ice therapy, cupping and kineseotaping.
Cupping is an ancient Eastern technique where glass cups are applied to the skin and the resulting vacuum lifts the skin in order to create blood flow to the muscles beneath the surface. It has the ability to decrease pain and stiffness and increase range of motion.
Fire Cupping Methods
Russian: Work from head of table to clients feet, making sweeping passes from hip to shoulder as necessary to treat the back.
Flash Cupping: Place all the cups on the body and rapidly remove them from the first applied to the last. Repeated until entire back has been treated.
Greek Flash Cupping: Plop the mouth of the cup evenly down on the surface of the skin with a small amount of force to create compression effect. After 1 second, pop it back off. This is a lung treatment, therefore keeping treatment area to the ribcage.

It also increases fresh blood flow and nutrients back into the area of discomfort, decreasing pain and increasing range of motion.
Kinesio taping is the practice of using elastic cotton strips to relieve tension and pain from athletic injuries. It stabilizes and increases circulation and allows you to make movements a bit easier without further injury.
